One of Tagaytay’s most beloved restaurants, Josephine’s, will soon become Rosario.

After its announced temporary closure a few weeks ago, The Vikings Group of Restaurants shared the new development on their Facebook page.

“The Vikings Group of Restaurants is set to continue the legacy of Josephine's in Tagaytay City as its former location will soon house Rosario,” the group, famous for their elaborate buffet halls, wrote.

According to the same post, “Rosario will excite food enthusiasts and Tagaytay city's tourists and local alike as it journey to become one of the best home for Filipino cuisines and traditional Filipino comfort food from different regions in the country… [featuring] heirloom recipes using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques, evoking happy memories of huge gatherings around the family dinner table.”

As of posting, The Vikings Group doesn’t have a target date yet as to when Rosario will open its doors to the public.

To close, “The Vikings Group has never stopped on its pursuit of making its mark in the Filipino food industry and in the heart of its beloved Filipino patrons. Their dedication to excellence has led them to be known for unforgettable experiences, service, and flavor. And this trademark will continue to be upheld in all our brands wherever we may serve you.”

Will it be a buffet hall? After all, The Vikings Group has made a name for itself for their value-for-money buffets in Metro Manila. Or will it be a traditional Filipino restaurant, just like Josephine’s, but with a revamped menu? We’re as excited as you are!
